Senior Manager, Health Care Strategy

JOB SUMMARY: |
NORC at the University of Chicago is an independent research organization with more than 80 years of leadership and experience in research, data collection and analysis, program evaluation, and policy analysis. NORC seeks a Senior Manager to manage consulting, research, and data analysis projects for health care clients, including health plans, providers, disease groups, and foundations. Such projects will generate insights and quantitative information to inform clients business strategy, policy positioning, and external thought leadership. The Senior Manager will have strong subject matter and technical expertise in 2-3 specific areas as well as a broad understanding of health care coverage, delivery, and access.? The candidate will be responsible for project teams by overseeing junior staff and producing work with limited oversight from senior staff. Candidates should produce superior quality deliverables, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, achieve high client satisfaction, possess strong project management skills, and manage projects within their designated budgets. The Senior Manager will be responsible for understanding clients goals, priorities, and preferences. The Senior Manager will also contribute to business development by drafting proposals, building budgets, and brainstorming future opportunities for growth. |

DEPARTMENT: HEALTH CARE STRATEGY | NORC Health includes five research departments: Health Care Evaluation, Health Care Programs, Public Health, Health Sciences, and Health Care Strategy, each of which are led by department heads providing the committed leadership and close collaboration across departments. NORC Health departments conduct research to inform the public and policymakers, while improving Americans health and quality of life.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: |
The pay range for this position is $124,000 - $187,000. This position is classified as regular. Regular staff are eligible for NORCs comprehensive benefits program. Benefits include, but are not limited to:
