POSITION:	1.0 TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:	Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate with valid approved area(s): Cross Categorical and/or Special Ed. Certificate with LD & ED approved areas. Must be properly certified and highly qualified in elementary content. Be knowledgeable of and implement appropriate AZCCR K-6 ELA & Math Standards Experience with data analysis Experience with specially designed instruction preferred Experience with small group instruction and interventions preferred Experience with co-planning and co-teaching with gen ed teachers Experience with a multi-tiered system of support that includes academics and behavior Experience with IEP writing and the evaluation process preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:	Teaching students with mild/moderate intellectual disabilities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:	Background working with students with Autism preferred.
