- Degree in Physical Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine or other closely related and relevant degree is required.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC).
- Candidates with CSCS credentials will be given first consideration.
- Other credentials (NASM or similar) will be required if candidate does not have CSCS credentials.
- Three or more years of experience as strength and conditioning specialist
- Experience with young adult athletes preferred
- Experience in multiple sports (male and female) required
- Speaking, reading and writing in English is required
- Bilingual communication is beneficial
- Knowledge of Google Suites
- Knowledge of relevant software programs
- Must be able to stand for extended times
- Must be able to demonstrate exercises
- Must be able to move equipment as necessary
- Must be able to bend at the waist and/or use appropriate lifting postures
- Must be able to drive District vehicles
- Must be able to tolerate a busy and classroom-like working environment
- Must be able to be flexible with daily work hours

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | |
| Apply scientific knowledge to train athletes with the primary goal of improving athletic performance |
| Conduct sport-specific testing sessions |
| Be committed to improving athletic performance of student athletes |
| Facilitate a reduction of athletic injuries in collaboration with the athletic trainer. |
| Work with all sport coaches to meet the specific needs of each program |
| Design science-based, safe and appropriate strength and conditioning programs |
| Provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention |
| Ensure that all training equipment is safe and operable at all times |
| Keep an inventory of all training equipment and materials |
| Keep all strength and conditioning spaces and weight rooms clean and orderly |
| Provide a welcoming atmosphere for all students and staff |
| Perform responsibilities in an ethical and professional manner |
| Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues |
| Work collaboratively with all Athletic Directors Trainers, Sports Medicine Staff, Coaches and Equipment Managers |
| Establish positive relationships with community partners for orthopedics, physical therapy, etc. |
| Adhere to Title IX compliance guidelines at all times |
| Maintain punctual and regular attendance |
| Perform other related duties as assigned |
| Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, staff, parents and school issues |
