    HOURLY RATE STARTING AT $22.66-$23.69 DEPENDING ON RELATABLE WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION

SUMMARY: The Talent Records Retention Associate will file, retrieve, digitally archive, and destroy personnel records in accordance with District and State policies and guidelines. Provides support of certain aspects of employment, employee relations, record keeping, and reporting or other support, and serves as the primary contact for personnel records retrieval, while delivering excellent customer service. Assists and supports Talent Division operations as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    1. Maintains the Talent Divisions confidential personnel file room. Establishes, organizes, and upkeeps personnel files.
    2. Assures that personnel information is filed correctly, and that confidential information is filed in appropriate areas.
    3. Conducts audits and reviews of personnel files to ensure required records are included and complete.
    4. Retrieves and prepares personnel records when needed to be accessed by the Talent Division or Legal Department for employee matters.
    5. Maintains both hard copy and digital scanning of the personnel files to be stored on site or upload into the digital data base.
    6. Identifies and prepares personnel files of separated employees for archiving and storage.
    7. Processes special requests which may require in-depth record searches and/or letters of verification.
    8. Manages the duplication-copying of official documents, reference materials, credentials, transcripts, and other applicant licensure and/or certification.
    9. Requests records from schools on an annual or as needed basis to ensure compliance with State and District retention policies.
    10. Monitors and maintains records storage systems as necessary to ensure that records are available and retrievable.
    11. Partners and collaborates with all teams within the Talent Division to assist with special projects, initiatives, and events within assigned scope of work.
    12. Provides customer service and staffs the front desk as a needed.
    13. Maintains Confidentiality with highly sensitive information.
    14. Supports the relationship between the Phoenix Union High School District and the public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with students, parents, visitors, and staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, employee records, and Talent Division information; follows Governing Board Policies; performs all other related duties as required or assigned.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines: High School diploma or GED equivalent; experience with Microsoft office and digital scanning of records; and two years of records management or clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
