Hiring Procedures
To maintain eligibility for an ESY assignment the employee must be under contract for the 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must submit an online ESY application no later than 3/7/25. Only completed online applications will be considered for ESY assignments. An interview panel will consist of district administrators and staff, who will collaborate on the selection of all ESY positions.

ESY employment is contingent upon return of a signed contract for the 2025-2026 school year. Any offer of ESY employment could be revoked if a signed 2025-2026 contract is not returned to Human Resources by the specified deadline.

Candidate notification of ESY assignments will be made beginning 4/21/25.

ESY Coordinator Commitment (dates and times may be subject to change)
Date	Task
April & May (as needed)	Planning: communication, ESY programming & professional development, determine ESY eligible students, support w/ hiring Teachers & Support Staff, route transportation, create classroom lists/scheduled, etc.
May 30th	Report to Conchos for staff meeting, oversee classroom & lesson preparation
June 2nd -18th (Mon Thurs)	Oversee program operations

ESY Coordinator Compensation
You will be compensated at the district-approved stipend schedule. The total compensation reflects 11 instructional days for up to 6 hours each day plus additional hours for staff meeting, programming and professional development, registering students, routing transportation, and creating classroom lists/schedules.
