Hiring Procedures
To maintain eligibility for an ESY assignment the employee must be under contract for the 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must submit an online ESY application no later than 3/7/25. Only completed online applications will be considered for ESY assignments. An interview panel will consist of district administrators and staff, who will collaborate on the selection of all ESY positions.

ESY employment is contingent upon return of a signed contract for the 2025-2026 school year. Any offer of ESY employment could be revoked if a signed 2025-2026 contract is not returned to Human Resources by the specified deadline.

Candidate notification of ESY assignments will be made beginning 4/21/25.

Paraprofessional/Support Staff Commitment (dates and times may be subject to change)

May 30th	Report to Conchos for staff meeting, classroom & lesson preparation
June 2nd 18th (Mon Thurs)	Support classroom instruction aligned to Individual Education Plans and provide students assistance with activities of daily living as needed.

ESS Paraprofessional/Support Staff Compensation
You will be compensated at the district-approved stipend schedule. The total compensation reflects 11 instructional days for up to 5 hours each day plus additional hours for staff meeting, classroom and lesson preparation.
