Position Description

This intermittent position is in the Departmental Analysis Division of the Pima County Finance & Risk Management Department.

Salary Grade: U1

This position is assigned to the Pima County Finance and Risk Management - Departmental Analysis Division and entails providing operational financial support services to Pima County departments. Duties may include, but are not limited to, financial analysis and reviews of expenditures, revenues and statistical data. Participation in financial trend analysis, preliminary year-end activities, monitoring and forecasting departments operating budget with a focus of providing all-inclusive department financial outlook. This position will have interactions with supported department administration and key staff members.

Proof of education will be required at time of interview.

Duties/Responsibilities

Positions within this classification will perform a variety of administrative, operational or technical tasks as assigned by the department in conjunction with the approved internship plan.

Minimum Qualifications

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Recently graduated or is currently a Sophomore, Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, or closely related field.

Licenses and Certificates: Some positions may require a valid Arizona Class D driver license at the time of application. Failure to maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination.
