Accounts Payable Accountant

East West Hospitality is looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Truckee, CA. From managing payment processes to overseeing cash operations, your role will be crucial to our financial success. Duties include:

Communication and Support

• Respond to daily emails and calls, addressing inquiries and serving as the contact for A/P queries.

Accounts Payable Oversight

• Manage A/P processes, ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices with accurate coding and documentation.

Recordkeeping and Documentation

• Handle mail processing, file/scanning of documentation, and organize vendor insurance certificates.

Financial Responsibilities

• Record and pay property taxes semi-annually, complete monthly financial tasks, and attend accounting meetings.

Administrative Functions

• Order office supplies, manage check mailing, input new vendor information, and assist in year-end 1099 preparations.

Location: Old Greenwood, Truckee, CA

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Status: Full Time, Year Round

Pay Rate: $26/hour

Schedule: Full-time role

A successful candidate will meet or exceed these requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with prior accounts payable experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; HTML experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and typing proficiency are required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and self-motivated.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and phone skills, coupled with proficiency in operating office equipment.
