We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join in on the fun in our Accounting Division.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be over the day-to-day financial responsibility of preparing the daily bank deposits and related cash receipts posting and billing information to the accounts receivable system. The Accounts Receivable Specialist must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and be able to work independently, following through on assignments with minimal direction.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible to:
- Daily deposit made via online system
- Assists in the preparation and distribution of daily cash report to Management
- Post cash receipts and billing information into AR system
- Research and record NSF check and credit card return transactions
- Research and respond timely to credit card disputes
- Answer internal and external customer calls regarding payments
- Performs daily and weekly process of report distribution and report filing
- Perform collection activity on small receivable portfolio
We are seeking someone with:
- 2+ years experience of Accounting/Finance experience
- Construction experience a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous knowledge of, or demonstrates the ability to quickly learn AS400 System (JD Edwards)
- Excellent data entry and PC skills, proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel). Experience with Outlook (email)
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills to handle multiple responsibilities, manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated, self-starter, quick learner, with excellent follow-up skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision and able to use resources efficiently and effectively to complete tasks and resolve issues
- Team Player (tactful, considerate, helpful) and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
