SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The professional would be working in a Detox Mental Health Center, with an Adult population.
"Assess the counseling needs of consumers
"Determines appropriate level of care using ASAM criteria
"Collaborates with consumer to develop a written treatment plan with goals and measurable objectives, and is consumer centered/recovery oriented
"Develops a consumer discharge/transfer plan to ensure movement to the appropriate level of care
"Contact, case consultation, and coordination with referral sources
"Participates as an active member of a multidisciplinary team for assigned consumers
"Documents all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-up in the consumer's record and provides appropriate signatures and dating of such entries, including electronically
"Other duties as assigned
CLIENT'S SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
* 40 Hours per week
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must have NJ CADC or LCADC, active and in good standing OR
* Must have NJ LSW/LPC/LCSW with Addictions Experience
* Requires a Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or any related Mental Health field
* Must be able to pass required Background Checks
* Must have experience working with the drug and alcohol population
