Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as an online adjunct faculty member for the online division in the College of Theology. For those with a passion for ministry and helping others through Christ, the College of Theology offers bachelor and masters degrees in Christian Studies. Specializations include Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership.

As an adjunct faculty member, youll provide program instruction in an online format, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. This course equips students with basic skills for pastoral care and conflict resolution, with special emphasis given to caring for the soul of the leader as he or she ministers to people during times of crisis.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
  • Using GCUs Learning Management System, you will be providing instruction to your students and grade their assignments in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: PhD from an accredited college or university with coursework in youth and family ministry and pastoral care AND At least two years professional experience in ministry or teaching at the postsecondary level.
