Position Summary |
The Division of Hospital Medicine is currentlyseeking a temporary Administrative Assistant 3. This person should be a motivated self-starter, have excellentcommunication skills, value customer service, be detail oriented and haveproven time management skills. TheAdministrative Assistant 2 will be the first line of communication for ourfaculty, vendors and residents and therefore should possess the ability tocommunicate effectively over the phone and in person. Computer skills and basic math skills areessential. This candidate will perform a variety of administrative supportduties for the Division to include: reception duties, answering phones, filing,processing financial transactions,maintaining minutes of meetings, assisting with event planning, performing dataentry, assist with faculty credentialing, maintaining schedules and provideassistance in areas of faculty recruitment-hiring-orientation. This is a potential temp-to-regular opportunity, subject to the selected candidates performance throughout the temporary assignment, in addition to the business needs of the hiring department. The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressivedepartment with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide qualitywork in an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation,training, and education. Through our collaborative work effort, we support thefaculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health SciencesCenter and University. Assignment Details: Days & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Anticipated Start Date: February 1, 2021 Projected End Date: June 30, 2021 Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee UNMTemps provides staffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees as positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work periods, and for special events. As such, UNMTemps assignments/positions may end with little or no advance notice.

Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
