Position Summary |
Applying for this position will place you in a general pool of candidates with UNM Staffing Services for benefits and non-benefits eligible positions in departments and campuses throughout the University. Qualified applicants will be considered for placement into temporary and regular administrative assistant assignments when positions become vacant, regular employees are absent, during peak work periods, and/or for special events. This pool is looking for the following levels of Administrative Assistants: Admin Assistant 2: Performs a variety of administrative and staff support duties for a specified unit/department, such as;
Minimum Experience Needed: High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Admin Assistant 3: Performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, such as;
Minimum Experience Needed: High school diploma or GED; at least 3years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Minimum Qualifications |
May require High school diploma or GED; at least 1 to 5 years of experience in an administrative role. Please refer to posting information for specific minimum requirements for this classification description. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications |
Experience with calendaring and coordinating executive-level and/or large meetings. Experience performing receptionist duties in a large professional office environment Ability to record, edit, and transcribe meeting minutes Time Entry Management Proficiency in standard computer software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) UNM / Transferrable experience (Banner, Chrome River, LoboTime) |
