The Office of Administrative Legal Services (OALS) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This position is a member of the Intake team and will report to the Intake Supervisor.
* Scan large volume of documents; index additional information received; print and prepare documents for mailing
* Provide front desk coverage as needed
* Process incoming mail and faxes
* May perform data entry duties for Fee for Service claim dispute/appeals into ProLaw database; retrieve eligibility and enrollment status from AHCCCS PMMIS system; route matters to appropriate hearing officer; re-open intake unit matters upon request
* Other duties as assigned related to the position
* Knowledge of AHCCCS programs to properly identify information on claim disputes and appeals for Fee for Service
* Proficient computer skills, including typing; proofreading for high degree of accuracy
* Proficiency with use of Google Suite; Microsoft Word and Excel; RightFax; PMMIS, Docuware, ProLaw database computer systems, scanning documents
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to work with others effectively
* Ability to follow instructions and learn administrative management skills
* Ability to identify and route claim disputes accordingly; analyze and resolve routine issues
* Multi-task for variable workload
