POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certification & Licensing Division is responsible for protecting the public by assuring only qualified applicants become certified to engage in certain regulated professions and further assuring that, once certified, the professionals comply with regulatory standards. This Division seeks a motivated, detail-oriented person to fill the role of Administrative Assistant who will work side-by-side with other Assistants who support the work and programs of the Division. This position will provide advanced administrative, clerical and technical support for all programs of the Certification and Licensing Division.

This position will provide reception services for the Certification and Licensing Division and office of the Presiding Disciplinary Judge to include greeting and assisting public, answering division phone line and directing or responding to inquiries as appropriate. This position will also provide administrative support for all programs and units within the division, including setup of meetings and hearings, direct customer service, processing mail, copying, faxing and other administrative duties, as well as participate in preparation, set up, administration and close of biennial Arizona Bar Examination. Maintain division forms and all program and division websites. In addition, this position will review, process and/or disseminate, all incoming information, inquiries and funds via multiple formats. Assists in maintaining databases and compiling statistical information, produce reports and conduct routine quarterly control checks of said databases.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will hold a High School diploma or GED and three years related experience. Experience with Microsoft Word, typing with accuracy, and formatting and merging of documents. The ability to operate general office equipment, multi-task with minimal supervision, strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to draft and edit rough copy and correct formatting, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The ability to work and communication effectively with court staff, judicial offers, volunteers, committee members, members of the other government agencies, the court community, and the public. Must demonstrate excellent professional skills in a challenging and diverse environment, as well as understand and preserve confidentiality.

Travel level: negligible.
