Job Description:

Per Diem

The Administrative Assistant for the Outpatient Surgery Center reports to the Assistant Director. The primary responsibilities of the position are greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, data entry of daily charges, preparing monthly/annual reports, preparing charts, maintaining inventory of office supplies and forms, assisting staff with SCM orders and other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Two years experience in an administrative assistant or similar role, competent computer skills, ability to multi task, team player and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must have patience and the ability to consistently project a positive, welcoming and empathic attitude to patients and visitors.

Education:

High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.

Not applicable.
