We're looking for a DYNAMIC ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR OF HEART and VASCULAR SERVICE LINE to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Line Director is responsible for leading, directing, and supporting strategic and operational initiatives for Heart and Vascular Service Line Surgical Services - Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery by working in collaboration with care delivery sites, regional administration, management teams, and medical staff in accordance with established goals and benchmarks. Additionally, responsible for partnering with business development to ensure successful implementation of strategic plans to achieve business objectives and enhancing existing lines of business by establishing relationships with physicians, customers, and patient relations. The Program Director of Service Line will operate with accountability to the President, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Medical Directors.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or healthcare related field required; Master's degree preferred

3-5 years of leadership or management experience preferably in a hospital setting

3-5 years of experience in Cardiac, Thoracic and/or Vascular Surgery

BLS and ACLS required

APRN or PA preferred

CVRN or CNOR preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Knowledge of AORN Standards & Guidelines for Perioperative Services.

Demonstrates proficiency in basic computer programs.

Highly organized with attention to detail.

Skilled in managing large amounts of information in a clear and thorough manner.

Adaptable and able to respond quickly and adequately to constant change.
