Admissions Rep - Urgent Care Clinic (PT)

Looking for an Admissions Rep to join our close-knit Urgent Care Team. Looking for a team player with excellent customer service skills, willingness to be proactive in offering help to team members, patients, and families. Must be committed to the success of the GVH Urgent Care. The Admissions Representative is responsible for pre-admitting and admitting patients to the urgent care, either during a face to face interview or over the phone. This position is responsible for verifying insurance benefits, providing estimates for services, and collecting money at time of service. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. The Urgent Care Admissions Representative will communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with patients and other hospital staff

Education: Experience or training in healthcare office setting and customer relations. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Requires ability to work cooperatively with other employees, other departments and the public. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines is required. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and concentrate in a busy environment is required. Ability to use common computer system and business software is necessary.

Licenses/Certification: CPR

Compensation: $15.00/hr - $17.25/hr, depending on experience.

Benefits Eligibility

Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of active service. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
