Position Summary |
Under general supervision, provides independent acute and/or routine medical care to a specified population. Provides consultation and advice to others as a highly-specialized practitioner. May supervise support staff in an out-of-hours or remote clinical setting. We train and advance both new and experienced APP's through ongoing skill development. Goalsand Expectations: Perform patient history and physical examinations as needed for a range oforthopaedic problems. See the Position Description for additional information. |

Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree; no previous experience required.Certification/LicensureEligible for New Mexico certification as a Physician's AssistantORState of New Mexico Certified Nurse Practitioner or certification pending, as documented by temporary certificate. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | Experiencein clinical patient care. |
