Advisor, Automation Test Engineer, Computational Engine

Job Description
As an Automation Test Engineer, Senior Analyst at CVS Health in our Enterprise Analytics group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the application, and your primary responsibility will be the Computational Engine: a model that transforms financial forecasts into a profit and loss (P&L) statement.
Your role is vital to ensure that testing requirements have been met before changes are put into production. This has a great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers.
What you will be doing:
* Participate in the full software development project lifecycle with emphasis on Quality Assurance activities in the proper implementation.
* Support the development of comprehensive test strategies, plans, reports and environments for manual or automated testing for multiple IT projects in a release cycle.
* Understand the complex software architecture and software design documents,
* Implement the quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and software quality assurance risks assessment and mitigation.
* Execute of test cases and validate results, meet deadlines and provide first tier of triage for project defects found during test execution.
* Generate test reports that communicate test results, concerns and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates to the product management team.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ yrs working as Software QA testing experience
- Experience in automated testing / manual testing and running test scripts in an Agile testing team
- Experience with Load testing tools like Locust, Neoload
- Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language like python which is preferred one
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins or others)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of Data pipelines
- Knowledge of NoSQL database
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms preferably with Azure cloud
- Experience with tools such as PostMan, other rest API tools

Education
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statistics, Health Policy, or other related field; or Advanced Degree
