Job Description
This position will be working from home anywhere, but with a preference for the employee to be within a commutable distance to Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI. Travel will be minimal, around 0-10%.

This role within the central program office of Medical Affairs will lead and contribute to a variety of initiatives intended to improve and advance approaches, processes, partnerships, and products within the Aetna business and across the enterprise. This entails organizing, facilitating, and driving the work and deliverables of multiple, complex projects or programs, from conceptualization to execution. Significant collaboration and negotiation is needed across multiple functions, business segments, and external partners. A proactive, creative, and nimble approach enables success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This important role has the opportunity to shape and deliver new innovation which positively impacts the business and the populations we serve.

This role will effectively: Analyze health issues, market dynamics, and product portfolio to understand key needs and opportunities; Synthesize project requirements based on identified need and stakeholder input; Develop effective but flexible plans, approaches, and materials; Collaborate and partners with other internal teams and external partners; Advise on strategies and options to meet target need and opportunities for improvement; Anticipate, identifies, and troubleshoots barriers to success; Drive successful and timely deliverables and senior leader briefings; Document progress and impact on health and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience within Health and healthcare industry dynamics and trends.
* 3+ years of experience with Program management best practices.
Skill in:
* Complex program and project management.
* Investigation and analysis of health issues and market dynamics.
* Strategic and tactical planning.
* Proactively advising on best approaches and target deliverables to achieve desired outcomes.
* Development of business presentations and executive briefings.
Ability to:
* Analyze and synthesize information on products and product outcomes.
* Organize and lead cross-functional project teams.
* Manage to successful program timelines and outcomes.
* Balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in:
* Health plan operations
* Population health management
* Client success
* Product innovation

Education
Bachelors Degree in relevant field required. Masters Degree in relevant field preferred.
