Dispatching all transport activity of Flight For Life. Will serve as general communicator for all of Fight For Life to keep staff informed of all activity and transport requests. Will maintain Flight For Life database. Coordinates transfer center activity.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Experience in EMS-related field or dispatching experience for a public service agency (i.e. air medical, Fire, Police, or EMS)
  • Excellent computer skills; customer service skills; navigational and medical terminology knowledge; able to multi-task; map reading.
  • High School Diploma OR GED required.
  • International Association of Medical Transport Communication Specialists (IAMTCS) CFC Course Completion within 18 months of employment required.
  • EMT preferred
  • Dispatching skills and/or EMS experience are helpful.

Schedule- 6pm- 6am, 3 shifts per week. Schedule rotates every 4 months to different days but same shift.

Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
