Analyst, Application Development provides dedicated ongoing support across the various product teams for the many applications within the Retail Pharmacy portfolio. In this exciting role, you will liaison between business and technical teams during the planning process and provides oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Provides analysis and support for installed systems, as well as system implementation and integration projects, which require systems analysis, architecture, design, build, testing and deployment for specific modules and/or applications. Researches requests to determine scope, size and impact. Validates requirement information with the stakeholders to ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity. Validates solutions to ensure it satisfies the stated requirements. Works on strategic projects and able to manage small- to mid-sized operational projects independently. Works independently across multiple departments and divisions in order to accomplish goals. Guides and advises less experienced application analysts on the team and provides orientation and training to new employees.
Builds credibility and rapport within & across organization to understand & solve various business needs. The Analyst should be able to collaborate across application teams within the Retail Pharmacy portfolio, understand business requirements, perform impact analysis for proposed changes, ensure that uniform enterprise wide application design standards are met & app specific architecture guidelines are maintained, identify areas of opportunity to become efficient in our environment. This would also include simplifying and modernizing existing applications whenever applicable.
In addition, candidate will collaborate with various departments, vendors & leaders. The Analyst will also participate in the planning and construction of prototypes (Proof of Concept activities), leveraging the latest technologies as & when needed.
Required Qualifications
1+ years of professional hands on software development and/or IT experience with Java.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with offshore software development teams
Software Development Certifications
Education
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Technical field, or comparable work experience required
