This is a full time position working at Northwest Medical Center.

Great opportunity for experienced Anes. Tech in the Main OR at NWMC. Prefer 1 - 2 years exp. Hours are negotiable. Call required.

The Anesthesia Tech in the Operating Room dept. provides support for routine surgical/invasive procedure cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. Assists licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. This is a critical position that is essential to providing safe anesthesia care and not only services the OR, but Cath Lab, MRI, GI and interventional. Works with a team or independently. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple demands.

Position Qualification/Minimum Requirements

Education: HS diploma or equivalent.

Required: Completion of Anesthesia Tech, EMT, Certified Nursing Asst. or Surgical Tech course.

Preferred: EKG course

Experience:

Two (2) years anesthesia technician experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required: American heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS

Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) ACLS & PALS

Preferred: Cer. A.T. or Cer. A.T.T
