Application Specialist II (Non-Exempt)

Assist in the operation of the Electronic Health Records system. Ensures appropriate set up is in place for the EHR system to run effectively. Coordinates trainings with EHR system users to ensure understanding of the functions of the EHR system. Conducts audits to ensure that the EHR system is being maximized and that the system is functioning appropriately.

Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. A minimum of five (5) years experience utilizing an Electronic Practice Management (EPM) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system(s) in a healthcare environment. A minimum of five (5) years experience facilitating training in a classroom environment on clinical healthcare applications or systems; demonstration of experience with staff development instructional techniques, as well as adult learning principles and methodologies. Preferred: A Faculty or Instructor Certification from an accredited vocational program, college, or university. Must obtain a fingerprint clearance card and be able to successfully pass a background investigation. If not already obtained, Finger Print Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment.
