Arena Events - Campus Scheduling Coordinator
Job Description
Grand Canyon University is seeking a fulltime Campus Scheduling Coordinator. This position is an administrative role which coordinates data/information, tasks, activities, workflow and/or processes for the Campus Scheduling Department.
The administrative duties are of varying complexity, which involve request processing through the University scheduling system (Resource Scheduler) and completes associated tasks based on experience and knowledge of institutional/departmental policies and procedures. Workflow involves monitoring, posting, and processing various data, forms, documents, contracts, reports, and other information as specified/necessary.
Responsibilities:
Assist in prioritizing, planning, scheduling, arranging and executing details for events or meetings including logistical requirements scheduled by campus departments.
Monitor and process various campus department contact/request information and data through related forms and documents.
Under general direction, collaborate scheduling calendar with University Event Services - Event Coordinators and Director on assignment and event logistics.
May assist with reviewing and processing outside group requests and reconcile facility use agreements, certificate of insurance, invoices, etc. and collaborate with accounting for payment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Prior administrative/office work experience preferred.
Must have valid drivers license with clean driving record.
Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
