Position Description

The Town of Marana is seeking an Asset Systems Manager to work in the Technology Services Department. The position will coordinate with multiple departments in the development, configuration and implementation of a comprehensive asset management system.

Expected Hiring Range: $62,981 - $78,725
Salary Range: $62,981 - $94,471

Examples of Duties

  • Provides leadership and development to assigned staff; establishes goals and objectives; participates in the recruitment process, evaluates work performance, ensures policy and procedure compliance, and monitors employee relations matters.
  • Manages and coordinates the uniform development and implementation of the asset management platform.
  • Develops, implements and manages policies/procedures, reports on asset usage, financial performance, operations, maintenance, and life cycle cost across all levels of the organization.
  • Manages the asset database and the integrity through the creation & monitoring of system controls to ensure asset records are complete and accurate.
  • Coordinates and assists departments in developing operational/ maintenance records which use financial data and performance criteria to establish industry best practices.
  • Leads a cross-departmental working group tasked with governing the asset management system.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management Information Systems or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in asset management working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or closely related field.
  • Over one year of supervisory experience or must complete the Town of Marana's supervisory academy within one year of hire date.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Arizona Driver License
  • Ability to pass both Town of Marana background checks (motor vehicle/criminal)
  • Ability to pass a fingerprint clearance background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in Cartegraph or other asset software programs
  • Project Management and system implementation
