Assistant Carpenter

The Carpenter Helpers will assist skilled craftsperson(s) by performing supportive duties as directed and will work under immediate supervision.

Tasks may include:

• Loading and unloading building materials.
• Assist Carpenter in laying out work
• Assist Carpenter with lifting, positioning, securing, and cutting of materials during installation
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Ensure work area remains stocked with materials needed
• Assist other craft workers as needed

Requirement:

• Ability to pass a background
• Some hand tool knowledge would be helpful
