CVS Health continues to grow! We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Category Manager, Household. In this important role, you'll contribute to deliver sales and margin goals in assigned categories by helping to achieve market share growth and drive sales, contribution margin, inventory turns and GMROII. You will assist in managing all profit and loss information for the categories assigned.
You will also be involved in vendor management to include: collaborating and negotiating with manufacturers and vendors to ensure product placement and product strategy that grows sales and profitability.

Other responsibilities include:

Responsible for providing accurate and timely data analysis to Senior Category Manager

Responsible for executing pricing and promotional programs

Sales budgeting and forecasting process assistance

Managing assortment across store and digital channels
Monitor operational opportunities and communicate with team on ideas for improvement of shrink, sales, and expenses

Must be willing to travel at least 5-10%

THIS ROLE IS BASED AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE IN WOONSOCKET RI WITH SOME WORK FROM HOME FLEXIBILITY

Required Qualifications
3 + years of experience developing and executing plans, review data, consumer insights and identify business opportunities to deliver expected financial and share results.
3 + years of experience collaborating with cross functional team members, internally and with suppliers.
3 + years of experience developing cohesive category strategies to deliver on both short-term and long term goals and adapts change based on consumer/market dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building and executing Strategic Growth Plans
Experience managing a retail Profit and Loss (P&L)
Master's degree in Business, Finance or related field

Education
Bachelor's degree
