Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Supervises medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the clinical setting
  • Participates in the education of medical students and residents
  • Conducts research and scholarly activities within the Department of Pediatrics
  • Ensures compliance with HIPPAA and billing regulations
  • Demonstrate Professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. degree, or foreign equivalent
  • Texas medical license, or eligibility for licensure in Texas
  • Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in pediatrics
  • Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in adolescent medicine
