Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides leadership of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Provides patient care services in the area of pediatric hematology and oncology
  • Participates in research and scholarly activities within the Department of Pediatrics
  • Supervises advanced practice professionals
  • Participates in the education of medical students and residents of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine
  • Ensures compliance with HIPPAA and billing regulations
  • Demonstrate Professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicines Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications
  • M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent foreign medical degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
  • Must have a Texas license or eligible for licensure in Texas
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics
