Assisted Living Program Community Liaison

Oneida Center Assisted Living Program is seeking a qualified Community Liaison for our Assisted Living Program in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a pleasant demeanor!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and/or improve community occupancy and average daily census in accordance with the company business and marketing plans
  • Manage sales processes by understanding prospective residents needs and educating them about the communitys services and programs
  • Coordinate and complete all activities needed for sales, including visiting prospects' homes, conducting initial assessments, providing sales presentations, and ensuring all required forms are completed prior to moving in
  • Maintain CRM with up-to-date documentation
  • Increase community awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups, joining networking events, and local community involvement
  • Strengthen relationships within local hospital systems and physician networks as well as strengthening and growing business opportunities
  • Assist hospital social service and discharge planning personnel by providing the required paperwork and timely follow-up and follow-through
  • Work closely with agency personnel to identify community resources
  • Communicate with Centralized Admissions in obtaining required paperwork and inform of any changes and/or updates in a timely manner
  • Attend and participate in all company offered training and education opportunities as directed by Regional Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven results in Senior Living sales
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a proven track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads
  • Proficiency with computers, and database systems
  • The ability to conduct presentations for healthcare professionals, senior groups, churches, etc.
  • Ability to build long-lasting relationships with local business partners and professional referral sources
  • Good listening skills, compassionate and empathetic
  • Have a clear understanding of Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Assisted Living Program
  • Excellent sales/marketing, communication, time management & organizational skills required
  • Ability to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Must be self-directed, able to prioritize tasks as well as have the ability to accept directives
  • Team player with industry knowledge and the ability to connect with families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional contacts in the market are a definite plus!
