Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated Associate QA Engineer to join their high-performing and collaborative team. You will have the ability to quickly grasp discussions, inquisitive to understand business requirements in detail, diligent, organized, focused on continuous improvement, reusability and are able to express clearly. You must be a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast with quality. This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining both remote and on-site work if located in the Alpharetta area.

Department Background: The QA department comprises talented, motivated engineers with technical ability, curiosity and analytical mind that aids quality delivery for new features, enhancements to the customers. TheQA department works closely with the development, support, operations and product management team for clear understanding of the requirements and business use cases and then work on designing test strategy, documenting detailed test cases, executing test cases and automation for the features.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating test strategy document and test plans.

  • Writing detailed test cases and organizing them such that they offer easy access and reusable.

  • Creating automated tests, executing them and analyzing the results.

  • Manual Testing.

  • Defect Tracking.

  • Reporting daily work status to the reporting lead.

  • Owning quality delivery for sprint planned features.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to write scripts in any commonly used programming language.

  • Ability to write SQL scripts and an understanding of databases.

  • Prior Experience in testing batch processes such as batch uploads/ file drops etc.

  • Prior experience in testing Restful API.

  • Familiarity with Selenium-based test automation.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work constructively with employees, stakeholders and management towards a common goal.

  • A STEM degree or experience in software application testing.


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business Knowledge on financial services domain experiences.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation range: $57,000 - $65,000

Traditional Physical Requirements:
