Title: Asst Dir- Quantitative Financial Analyst

Location: 405 Howard Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94105

Duties: Analyze and assure the quality of financial statistics produced by Moodys Analytics leading-edge credit risk measurement and asset liability management products. Assist in developing the latest iteration of financial applications based on financial research and analysis. Review financial analytics requirements and work with Research and Product Management to develop testing plans and testing strategies. Design and create test cases, execute tests, analyze testing results and present testing reports to the project team. Work closely with Financial and Software Engineering teams to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. Develop analytics prototype and benchmark for testing. Build, execute and maintain automation test suites, regression tests, and financial testing systems.

Requirements: Requires a Masters degree in Financial Engineering, Computational Finance, or a closely related quantitative field. Must have academic training or experience in financial risk modeling, fixed income analysis and balance sheet management; Data processing with large financial databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, and data files in formats such as csv, xml or json; and Programming languages such as Python, R, C++ or C#.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $80,538 - $202,750/year, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moodys also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
