ATHLETIC TRAINER - Bulletin #032-21

- Two (2) years of responsible and verifiable experience (paid or unpaid) as an athletic trainer, physical therapist, paramedic, licensed vocational nurse or related occupation.OR- Four (4) years of equivalent experience as an aide or assistant to the positions above. AND- Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent.- Completion of two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units) in a related field.- Annual, verifiable completion of 24 hours or 24 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in the field of athletic trainer or a related field as determined by the Athletic Director.- Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License.- Possession of valid First Aid and CPR Certificates. - Please read "Job Description/Essential Elements" above to review additional qualifications for this position.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:- Certification as an Athletic Trainer through the BOC (Board of Certification).- Experience in creating and/or managing schedules.
