Automation Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Description
CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, has an opportunity to welcome a new member to the Pharmacy Maintenance Team in Mt. Prospect, IL. As our Automation Maintenance Technician, you will work with a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanics, Engineers, and other technical support personnel to maintain equipment in a large volume advanced technology pharmaceutical dispensing facility. You will repair, maintain and improve equipment to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility.

You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and be responsible for supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems. They will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees. This person will be a team player who is comfortable working in a team based environment, and will possess good communication skills with the ability to work with different levels of employees with focus on customer service. Our ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

This is a 3rd shift position. We are currently seeking someone who will work onsite Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10:00pm to 6:30am Saturday, 12:00am to 8:30am.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of general maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- 1+ years of experience of professional maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- 1+ year of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and PLC based control systems, knowledge of PLCs, PLC troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, FDA, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device).
- A craft certification or other related certification/training.

Education
- Verifiable high school diploma or GED.
