Job Description
VALLEYLIFE is a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to men, women, and children with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Fleet Mechanic at our main location in North Central Phoenix, Monday -- Friday, 7:00 am -- 3:30 pm and on call.
Skills & Requirements:
* Diagnose mechanical & electrical issues for all fleet vehicles (mini vans and high top wheel chair vans).
* Schedule & perform maintenance and repairs to all vehicles.
* Repair vehicles as needed.
* Be able to lift 50 - 100 lbs.
* Be able to bend, kneel & stand for long periods of time.
* Be able to work in seasonal heat & cold
Minimum Job Requirements:
* Must have a valid Arizona Driver's license and have a clear MVD driving record.
* Be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card.
* Be able successfully pass a background check that meets State Licensure requirements.
* Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Be able to document provided services accurately and efficiently.
* Possess basic computer skills.
* Be able to be on call weekends & holidays.
