Mitie has a great opportunity for Security Agents to join the Stansted Airport Security Team. The Security Agents will be based in at Stansted Airport. You will ensure the safety of aircraft by screening all hold baggage in accordance with DfT guidelines and regulations and as per MAG internal Hold-Baggage protocol.
Main Duties
- Maintain the professional levels of the operation.
- Achieve and maintain full compliance with Regulator, Airport and Mitie requirements.
- To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Baggage searching OOG
- Baggage searching OOG - all tool boxes.
- Authorised firearms processing.
- Level 2 Hold baggage X-Ray screening.
- Level 3 Hold baggage X-Ray screening.
- Hand searching Super OOG items.
- Level 4 Hold baggage reconciliation.
- Escalation of suspected level 5 baggage items
Person Specification
- 10 year checkable work history.
- Successful clearance of CTC.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Flexibility according to operational needs.
- Good administration skills, including basic computer skills.
