    JOB GOAL:
    To support the school site leader, supervise children in the before and/or after school program as well as during school breaks.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    2. Experience as a teacher/caregiver aide for 12 months; OR volunteer in a child care facility for 12 months or enrollment in a vocational training program.
    3. Background check clearance.
    4. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
    5. Excellent attendance record.
    6. CPR/First Aid certified.
    7. Enjoys working with children.

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 Days; 9 Months; Part-time
    COMPENSATION: $14.93 - $17.61
    BENEFITS: As per District policy
    REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
    HOURS: 20 hours per week - Monday-Friday 2:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
    1. Support QCUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
    2. Monitors and assists children to ensure childrens safety at all times in the QCUSD before and after care setting (6:30 a.m. 6 p.m. split shift), and/or intercession camps and/or summer camps.
    3. Maintains an environment in accordance with Department of Health Services childcare licensing requirements.
    4. Team player with the ability to work well with peers.
    5. Able to work with children from a variety of ages, while maintaining student confidentiality.
    6. Sets up rooms for activities and cleans up after activities.
    7. Learns the assigned plans and is prepared before children arrive.
    8. Operate and care for equipment in the program.
    9. Attends required staff meetings and training as directed and required by licensing and district.
    10. Interacts positively with parents and/or guardians.
    11. Performs other duties as assigned.
