JOB TITLE:
Before/After School Student Worker
JOB GOAL:
To support the school site leader, supervise children in the before and/or after school program as well as during school breaks.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- High School Student
- Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
- Excellent customer service and reliability
- Must pass fingerprint and background clearance
- Evidence of clear TB Test
- CPR/First Aid Certification
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 days (9 months); Part-time
COMPENSATION: $13.35- $15.89
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
HOURS: 17.5 hours per week
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:- Support QCUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families
- Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span
- Assists facilitators and assistant facilitators with necessary tasks
- Be willing to take initiative
- Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
- Performs other duties as assigned
