    Before/After School Student Worker

    JOB GOAL:
    To support the school site leader, supervise children in the before and/or after school program as well as during school breaks.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students
    2. Must be able to read, write and speak English
    3. High School Student
    4. Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules
    5. Excellent customer service and reliability
    6. Must pass fingerprint and background clearance
    7. Evidence of clear TB Test
    8. CPR/First Aid Certification

    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 days (9 months); Part-time
    COMPENSATION: $13.35- $15.89
    BENEFITS: As per District policy
    REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
    HOURS: 17.5 hours per week
    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
    1. Support QCUSD Vision, Mission and Goals.
    2. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families
    3. Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span
    4. Assists facilitators and assistant facilitators with necessary tasks
    5. Be willing to take initiative
    6. Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
    7. Performs other duties as assigned
