Fully Remote Virtual Office

Description

Are you interested in telehealth and best practices but not committed to providing patient therapy?
What makes our telehealth position unique? We are within hospitals as an active part of the treatment team doing behavioral health screenings. Team members are collaborating on cases, rounding with team members, and interacting with patient systems. This is not therapy.
LCSW supervision is provided for qualified candidates.

Technology is supported
24/7 Teams offer flexibility for changing needs

This LCSW position is responsible for responding to requests for consultative behavioral health assessments by phone and telehealth including the initial response, psychiatric triage assessment, designation of appropriate level of care/disposition, and initiation of placement/referral services. The position works collaboratively to improve the flow of behavioral health patients from ER and inpatient settings into appropriate programs, leveraging intake processes and telemedicine modalities to expedite the access to definitive behavioral health care. This remote Telehealth role utilizes systems designed for assessment of patients during clinical episodes and remote access to electronic health records, but will also manage videoconferencing systems that will be used for daily staff interactions, administrative meetings, and distance education. Thus, this associate will be responsible for operating and maintaining different levels of equipment and software technology usage.

It is expected that this position will include up to an 80/20 split between remote (80) and onsite (20) services.
