This is a fully telework role with standard business hours required.
Behavioral Health Specialist provides consultation and collaboration to medical nurses in case management and disease management programs, regarding engagement and treatment for BH co-morbidities. The mission of
the position is to promote an overall holistic approach to the Aetna member, through a single point of contact, regarding all medical issues including behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. The BH Specialists
serves as a consultant to the Aetna member-facing entity.
Required Qualifications
-5+ years experience in behavioral health with preference given for prior managed care experience.
-3 years post degree experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting required
-One of the following required: Independent behavioral health license (ex: LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LICDC, PhD, LISW) OR an RN with behavioral health experience.

-Unencumbered clinical license in the state where worked
-Registered Nurse with behavioral health experience/background
-Masters or Doctoral degree in behavioral health field preferred
