The primary responsibility of the Senior Representative Benefits Verification, Lead, is to assist colleagues with questions and issues and ensure all concerns are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.
Assists colleagues with questions and issues and ensures all concerns are resolved or escalated in a timely manner. This can include serving as a subject matter expert in processes or systems to assist new colleagues or those who may be performance deficient. Identifies and offers solutions to leadership of observed inefficiencies or enhancement to current work processes.
Provide floor and chat function support in the absence of a supervisor presence. Escalates confidential and timely feedback to leadership during these periods of coverage.
Required Qualifications
3 years experience in a healthcare related field.
1 year of Benefits Verification experience
Must currently work in the Benefits Verification department
Preferred Qualifications
2 years experience in specialty pharmacy
Education
Four year college degree, or equivalent, preferably in Business, Health Care Administration or related field or equivalent experience in a related field.
