This Anaheim located team is looking for a current benefit specialist looking to enhance their project management, process creation, and global benefit skills!
Our Benefits Specialist supports 50k associates with benefit, leave of absence and reasonable accommodation requests. We responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customer- our associates. This person will be responsible for managing the day to day administration of company-wide leave of absence and reasonable accommodation requests along with day to day benefits administration. The Team serves as the liaison between our associates, third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- The team manages all welfare plans, 401(k) and leave of absence processes and policies, ensuring compliance with FML, ADA, ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, OSHA, and all applicable Federal and/or State employment laws.
- The Benefits Specialist Team works diligently to deliver a high quality of service to each and every associate through multiple sources of communication.
- Day to Day Leave of Absence, Reasonable Accommodation & Benefits Administration for 50k associates throughout the US and Canada, ensuring we meet our department Service Level Agreement promise.
- Work with employees, carriers, and benefits advisor(s) to make decisions and advise on leave of absence and reasonable accommodation processes and policies, benefit questions, comments, and concerns.
- Create standard work, processes, and procedures within the benefits administration function to gain efficiencies.
- Ensure all applicable laws and regulations are followed and administered accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or equivalent job-related experience required
- 1+ years in Human Resources and/or Benefits (basic understanding of LOA, ADA, benefit types, programs etc.)
- Superior customer service and organizational skills
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
- Self-starter and motivator- has created processes and procedures
- Experience working within an HRIS system
