Verde Outdoor Needs a Billboard Construction Worker

The DriveTime family of companies is looking for a Billboard Construction Worker for Verde Outdoor Media. This role will be based out of Sioux City, Iowa.

Verde Outdoor Media, LLC is a newly formed out-of-home (OOH) media company based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and a growing addition to the family of companies owned by Ernest Garcia II, founder of DriveTime.

Boasting a dedicated team of real estate, advertising, marketing, financial and legal professionals, Verde Outdoor Media is committed to providing effective outdoor media solutions and exceptional customer service to OOH advertisers and operators.

Since its formation in 2021, Verde Outdoor Media has focused its efforts on expansion opportunities, recently acquiring a legacy OOH company in the Midwest and partnering with seasoned operators in the Mid-and South-Atlantic.

Verde Outdoor Media is led by CEO and President Dave Wood, an industry leader with 35 years of hands-on OOH experience operating in key markets across the U.S. and Mexico.

Thats Nice, But Whats the Job?

In short, as a Billboard Construction Worker you will handle daily maintenance and installation of advertising displays on billboards.

In long, our Installer is responsible for:

  • Build & repair billboard structures.

  • Clear vegetation obstructing billboard structures.

  • Maintain daily work logs on assigned duties.

  • Follow DOT regulations

  • Haul construction equipment & trailers

  • Serve as a member of the construction team for a growing region.

  • Lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor, sometimes under adverse conditions. Lifting could include up to 100 pounds. Standing and walking could be for up to 8-hour periods or more.

  • This position requires the extensive squatting, kneeling, and bending, pushing, reaching, seeing (with a focus on reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision), sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, stooping, talking, turning, walking, driving, and climbing.

  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

The Specifics.

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.

  • Construction experience / ability to operate assigned equipment (Skid loader)

  • Capacity to do maintenance work

  • Valid drivers license

  • Clean motor vehicle record.

  • Ability to climb up to 100 feet or more

  • CDL preferred
