The Billing Specialist is responsible for invoice delivery when manual distribution is required by the customer. This position will work closely with the Billing Supervisors to ensure that invoices are delivered and all inquiries are addressed within designated timeframes. Additionally, the Billing Specialist will monitor invoices with automated delivery to ensure a successful transfer and process manually when needed.
Essential Functions:
- Submittal of client invoices via portals, file transfer, or other manual methods (65%)
- Respond to internal customer inquiries via Courier, Outlook, and Teams (25%)
- Ensure that automated invoice delivery is successful, and follow up with manual submittal when necessary (10%)
Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One or more years prior billing experience and a good working knowledge of basic accounting concepts preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proven ability to sustain a high level of output and productivity
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team (demonstrates strong relationship-building skills)
