Job Description

Hourly Wage

ISS Guckenheimer offers full-time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is position is $20 per hour - $26 per hour per hour.


Work Hours

The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.


Key Purpose

The Bookkeeper will perform general administrative and accounting duties, process accounts payable invoices, create and maintain records, and other related functions. This position will support payroll functions, process payroll, and assist with payroll issues for our regional facilities support time. This position may also be called upon to perform general office responsibilities for multiple sites.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

  • Collaborate with other members of the facilities and finance team, report to the Sr. Financial Analyst, additional support the Regional Operations Manager
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues so that information is disseminated successfully
  • Participate in project groups and meetings as required


Ideal Candidate Experience

  • Three years of administrative, accounting or finance work or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of modern accounting theory, principles, and practices
  • Working knowledge of computerized financial applications
  • Considerable knowledge of budgetary, accounting and reporting systems
  • Ability to maintain efficient financial systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of payroll and accounts payable functions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 w.p.m. accurately
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills required
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills


Key Accountabilities

  • Generate and manage administrative phases of Above Base projects for multiple sites.
  • Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and provide payment approvals.
  • Create, manage, and reconcile purchase orders.
  • Post information to records and logs. Perform account balancing and reconciling.
  • Provide departmental assistance on budget to actual reports, budget forecasting, and general ledger.
  • Process payroll using Epay system.
  • Type various forms of correspondence, forms and reports from records, rough drafts or various sources.
  • Organize and maintain various filing systems.
  • Proofread work for errors and make corrections as needed.
  • Perform other duties necessary to provide general administrative support to regional site operations.
