Job Description
Digitalization Business Consultant will be integral members of a cross-functional team comprised of business, operations, and technology members. They will provide deep analytics, project management, process documentation and experience-specific expertise, enabling their team to generate innovative solutions to pain points and missed opportunities to delight the Aetna constituents. They will also serve as communication channels into their relevant areas of the business, engaging with leadership.
This role is part of the Digitalization Priority and will be involved in initiative planning, ongoing client relationship management and satisfaction for assigned initiatives that impact the delivery of products and services to the internal and external environment.
-Accountable for transferring knowledge, best practices (external and internal), methodology and tools to client organizations.
-Participates as a team member, may be responsible for concurrent initiatives or act as team lead for less complex projects based on resource requirements.
-Supports holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within assigned initiatives.
-Conducts thorough business case and external customer value analysis to determine selection, prioritization positioning and approach for broadest range of potential solutions (e.g., outsourcing, process improvements, technology solutions).
-Participates and supports metrics integration and execution for optimal results.
-Participates in initiative planning as required.
-Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting and presentation materials.
-Gathers, analyzes and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Facilitate process mapping sessions
- Perform data analysis and workflow process development/mapping
- Write agent level documents, such as Communications Alerts, Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aids
- Data analytics - manipulate data files to produce visual aids, pivot tables, assist in analysis, maintain original and edited versions
This role can be US-remote; East Coast work hours highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
Experience with moderate scale initiatives with moderate degree of complexity.
-3+ years experience with any Project Delivery Methodology
-Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives, business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk management.
-Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience. --Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.
-Operational experience in a relevant discipline. Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
-Relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.
-Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives: Business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk management.

Masters degree preferred, but not required.
College degree.
Appropriate licensure or certification by discipline preferred.
