Management professionals develop and implement strategies and policies to direct our operations, subsidiaries, major projects, and functional groups. They help our business units - and our company - meet corporate objectives and compete more successfully in the
marketplace. Designs enterprise wide and/or cross-functional solutions. This work results in initiatives that significantly impact company strategy enabling Aetna to be competitive in the marketplace and effectively serve its customers. Partners with business owners to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives, to include profitable growth and improved organizational effectiveness.
Position Summary/Mission
Involved in LTSS (Long-term Services and Support) initiative planning, workflow development, and LTSS Care management related activities that impact the delivery of
products and services to the Medicare/Medicaid dually eligible population. Collaborates with external LTSS/case management vendors and internal team members and/or matrixed staff as required in support of initiatives. Accountable for transferring LTSS requirements, best
practices (external and internal), methodology and tools. Participates as a team member, may be responsible for concurrent LTSS initiatives or act as lead for LTSS based projects based on resource requirements.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements:
-Supports holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans for LTSS products.
-Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within assigned LTSS initiatives.
-Participates and supports LTSS metrics integration and execution for optimal results.
-Participates in LTSS initiative planning as required.
-Supports engagement using a disciplined repeatable methodology
-Designs, develops interventions and facilitates LTSS work sessions.
-Gathers, analyzes, and synthesizes business intelligence to drive achievement of strategic business objectives for the LTSS population.
-Builds and utilizes diverse internal and external networks, as appropriate, for data gathering and best practice identification.
-Leverages internal and external networking to drive optimal
-initiative results and LTSS knowledge/best practice transfer
Required Qualifications
-Experience with innovative improvements to internal/departmental processes.
-5+ years experience with one or more of the following methodologies: management business process development, strategic business planning, and/or implementations of new business.
-Capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.
-Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives
-Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.
-Operational experience in a relevant discipline.
-Appropriate licensure or certification by discipline (Social Worker/Registered Nurse)

-Case management experience preferred
-Dynamo LTSS documentation and workflow experience
