Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time, day shift
Salary is $18 an hour
must pass background check and drug test
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Builder to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire position requiring the ability to work ten-hour shifts and in hot conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Select materials, fittings, and tools
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
- Assemble cabinet parts and install hardware
- Apply finishes (paint, varnish, sealant)
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Repair and refurbish cabinets
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with designers and clients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Cabinet Builder or similar role
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work ten-hour shifts and in hot conditions
